It is important to note that this is NOT the same type of bacon you get at the supermarket. This is a salt cured product, it WILL have a salty flavor. If you run it under cold water for about five minutes before frying it will help some. I would recommend cooking at a low temperature. It is sliced thicker and sold in one pound packages.
